News:Katy is currently co-producing CHILDREN OF EDEN for a one off charity event at The Prince Of Wales Theatre, London on 29th January.She is aso producing The Mystery Of Edwin Drood which runs at the Landor Theatre from April 11th-May 5th and the new musical Roll On The Day at the Etc Theare from March 26th-April 15th. She just returned from Arbroath, Scotland where she was Musical Director for the pantomime PUSS IN BOOTS. Katy is one half of ESCAPE TO HARMONY; a piano vocal duo act with Kimberly Blake which has now been officially launched. www.escapetoharmony.comShe recently MD'D the UK Tour of IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE. Recent producing credits have included THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS at The Union Theatre for ARIA ENTERTAINMENT and with A STAGE KINDLY, GALA - a celebration of 3 years of support for International New Musical Theatre at GREENWICH THEATRE which she also Musically Directed.Aria Enteratainment launched in September with a series of showcases entitled SONG BY SONG at the Canal Cafe Theatre and White Bear Theatre. Katy often performs in many London hotels and venues as a piano-vocalist. Recent projects as a Musical Director, projects have included a 6 week run of famous comedy sketch-show NEWSREVUE at Canal Cafe Theatre.She also recently performed as CONSTANCE in a workshop of VIOLET AND MUSSOLINI at The American Church and will reprised the role on Rome.With A STAGE KINDLY, Katy has also completed producing a 7 week run of new musical SLAY IT WITH MUSIC which ran at THE SPACE and GREENWICH PLAYHOUSE.She also Musically Directed and Produced BITESIZED, a collection of mini-musicals and comedic songs as well as APRIL REVUE at The King's Head Theatre and GLEE-S-CHOOL at the LOST Theatre.She sang with the West End Chorus for the show ANTHEMS with Brian May and Kerry Ellis at The Royal Albert Hall.

Katy is the co-founder and Artistic Director of the A STAGE KINDLY new musical theatre initiative, which has been created to develop and encourage the present and future of new musical theatre writing.

A STAGE KINDLY have produced 10 productions over the last 3 years and are one of the only self-funded companies which are actively producing and developing new work.

Musical Director

Musical DirectionKaty has just Musically Directed the UK Tour of IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE and GALA at Greenwich Theatre. Other recent credits include NEWSREVUE and SONG BY SONG at the Canal Cafe Theatre. Further credits include, BITESIZE and APRIL REVUE at the King's Head Theatre, GLEE-S-CHOOL at the Waterloo East Theatre and THE LOST THEATRE, CINDERELLA for the Young Actor's Theatre, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND for WAC and BALLETS RUSSES the musical. She was also MD on the European Tour of THE 12 TENORS and the showcase of DON'T CRY BUTTERFLY at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Katy graduated with a BMus, from Goldsmith's University in 2008. Katy was the Assistant Musical Director on the No 1 UK Tour of HOT FLUSH starring Marti Webb and Sheila Ferguson. She has Musically Directed both SOVIET ZION and TURKISH DELIGHT THE OPERA at the Rosemary Branch Theatre, Islington which she co-wrote with Giles Howe. She is the Musical Director of the theatre initiative A STAGE KINDLY and has Musically Directed all three revues DEBUT, ENCORE and BRAVO at venues such as Pizza On The Park.

Singer
PerformingKaty trained at the London School of Musical Theatre, graduating in 2005. Credits since leaving have been Constance in new musical Violet And Mussolini, West End Chorus for Chess in concert at the Royal Albert Hall and ANTHEMS with Kery Ellis and Brian May, the role of Cathy in The Last 5 Years at the Gielgud theatre RADA, a Beanette in Jack And The Beanstalk at the Liverpool Everyman Theatre and a Gypsy in the West End workshop of Zorro directed by Christopher Renshaw. Whilst training she was fortunate enough to play the role of Medea in the world premier of Charles Miller's Jason And The Argonauts at the Cochrane Theatre, London. Katy has performed as a vocalist in all three A STAGE KINDLY revues; Debut, Encore and most recently 'Bravo'.Singing TeacherKaty currently teaches Voice and Musical Theatre repertoire at THE BRIT SCHOOL of Performing Arts and TRINITY. She also performs as a piano vocalist in venues such as The Criterion restuarant and Montague Hotel in London.
